Humane Society staff have seized 33 animals from a filthy home in Longview, Washington.
Working off a tip, the Cowlitz County Humane Society found nearly three dozen animals, including dogs, guinea pigs and birds, in a home with two children, ages 10 and 11.
Their mother told Portland's KGW that poor health kept her from keeping their home clean.
“It was a problem and I'd ask my boys to help me, and they wouldn't and I'm on oxygen and I've got a bad back,” said Pat Hendrickson.
