Tampa, Florida - Animal Services officers confiscated 28 cats from the home of 52-year-old Constance Biebel at 2826 Minuteman Lane in Brandon today, in an apparent case of animal hoarding.
Investigators say the cats were confined with no food or water and are in such bad shape they will all probably be euthanized.
This latest case is just one of several which are currently being worked by Hillsborough Animal Services.
Earlier this week in Brandon, dozens of sick and starving cats were found in a home on Crowned Eagle Court. The 74-year-old female home owner was found in ill health, living with the cats amid tons of garbage inside the home.
