ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Residents in an east Orange County neighborhood said they're living next to an animal hoarder, and no one will do anything about it.
The homeowner, Ricky McIntosh, owns 14 Great Danes and dozens of cats. Piles of trash and debris in his yard, and he's never been fined by code enforcement.
Residents who live along Ponderosa Drive said McIntosh is a neighbor from hell.
"I don't understand why the county is not doing something about this guy," neighbor Earl Ball said.
Neighbors said the dogs escape nearly every day and roam the block in packs. One neighbor said her kids can't play outside because they are afraid of the dogs.
Homeowner Cari Phillips has plastic over her windows because the dogs busted through the glass in the middle of the night.
One of the things we can't show you is the stench. WFTV crews smelled it as soon as they arrived, and it's a pretty cool day.
Neighbors said that on a hot day, the smell coming from this house is unbearable. Phillips said the smell is "horrendous." .." More & video
