Animal-control crews plan to return to a West Beard Place home to
remove more cats as a hoarding case that grew out of control continues
to be a problem.
It’s been two weeks since the situation became a public concern. Some 70 cats were discovered in the residence at 111 West Beard Place. Several were diagnosed with leukemeia and AIDS and had to be euthanized. Many more were rescued.
