Humane Society rescues 64 dogs in regional hoarding case



Gulf Coast Humane Society rescued 64 dogs Tuesday afternoon from a hoarding case in Clewiston in Hendry County. The Humane Society was part of a multi-agency initiative that took about 250 animals, according to a news release from Gulf Coast Humane Society.
All 64 dogs in the care of the Humane Society are undergoing medical evaluations, and will be available for adoption or foster care within the next few days, pending up-to-date vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries.
