Neighbors: Dog hoarding taints water



CHESTERTON, Ind. - Northwestern Indiana police say they removed 55 dogs from a farmhouse after neighbors told public health officials they fear that runoff from the dogs' waste could be tainting their homes' drinking water.
The Times of Munster reports that Porter County sheriff's deputies call the situation at the farmhouse northeast of Chesterton one of the worst cases of animal hoarding they've seen.
