Pets Seized From Condemned Blue Summit Home

BLUE SUMMIT, Mo. -- People in Blue Summit said they're seeing a change for the better in their neighborhood after authorities condemned a home, removed nearly two dozen animals and took one woman into custody.

Neighbors said the house was so filthy and full of pets that they could hear it and smell it all the time.

"It was pretty bad," said Robert Claypole, who lives two doors down from the home. "It ain't something I like to smell."
